Discussion
This request is to extend the VMWare Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) for an additional 5 years. The current VMWare ELA expires in September 2020. VMWare is used to run multiple virtual systems on a single physical host computer. VMWare enables the hardware elements of a single computer (processor, memory and storage) to be divided into multiple virtual computers/machines. It also enables enhanced network visibility, automation and analytics.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS that the Board approve a five (5) year extension to the VMWare Enterprise License Agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, is authorized to take all such actions as needed to implement this resolution.
