Discussion
The Cooperative will consider the upgrade of our current electromechanical meters to newer radio frequency meters. The Cooperative issued RFP 2019-013 and Aclara meters were selected for this project. Aclara’s designated supplier. The Cooperative will execute a 3 year contract with Aclara to provide infrastructure, software and professional services that will allow for the replacement of existing electromechanical meters that are nearing their end of life. Under this program, the Cooperative will purchase a minimum of 75,000 meters under the initial term; 25,000 meter per contract year and will require support for the new meters. The contract allows, if desired, for a 3 year renewal and the Board will be presented with a resolution to cover the additional term if the Cooperative chooses to exercise this option.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COOPERATIVE that the Board authorize the negotiation and for execution of the 3 year Aclara Software License Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, is authorized to take all such actions as needed to implement the resolution.
