Financial Impact and Cost/Benefit Considerations: This action would add an additional $125,800 to the Cooperative's 2018 CIP Budget. This is a Major Variance under the Board's Budget Policy.
Discussion: The Board's Budget Policy requires a Budget Amendment when there is a Major CIP Variance (unfavorable) over $100,000 or 5% of the construction budget category. As part of the construction of the furniture for the Johnson City Headquarters, the Board may consider adding an additional $125,800 for furniture facilities and construction. The expenditure is necessary to modify existing modular workstations for improvements in employee privacy, storage functionality and productivity.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COOPERATIVE, that the Board approves an additional $125,800 to the Cooperative's 2018 Capital Improvement Plan Budget for Facility and Furniture Construction-related costs; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Executive Officer or designee is authorized to take all such actions as needed to implement this resolution.
