Financial Impact and Cost/Benefit Considerations: The implementation of this policy and the associated Power Supply and Energy Management Program is intended to establish and govern a sustained commitment to create and maintain a formal Power Supply and Energy Management Program to cost-effectively manage PEC’s power supply and energy requirements to meet the objectives established in the policy and the Board approved Power Supply Plan. The implementation of this board policy will be managed by the Power Supply and Energy Services department and costs are budgeted in the PEC business plan. Future program or system improvements determined to be needed will be requested as part of the budget and business planning process.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS that the Cooperative adopt the Power Supply and Energy Management Policy, that was presented to and discussed by the Board this day, with such changes, if any, as were discussed and approved by the Board; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, are hereby authorized to take all such action as may be necessary to implement this resolution.
