Discussion
The following software maintenance contracts are being extended for an additional three years; the software maintenance contracts are enterprise license agreements for Oracle, VMWare, Akamai and Microsoft.
Oracle maintenance covers Oracle databases and Oracle analytics.
VMWare maintenance covers server virtualization.
Akamai maintenance covers Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) cyber security protection for our web site.
Microsoft maintenance covers SQL databases, Windows, Office, SharePoint, and Exchange/Outlook.
Body
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COOPERATIVE, that the software maintenance contracts for Oracle, VMWare, Akamai and Microsoft be amended to extend each of those contracts for an additional 3 years; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Financial Officer is authorized to take all such actions as needed to implement this resolution.
