Discussion
A budget amendment is being requested to support the software upgrade of PEC’s current mapping system. The upgraded system is Trimble’s NIS. The upgrade will include loading of the complete system inventory data performed by DRG, integration with StormGeo and AVL, upgrade of the outage management system and the launch of an outage dashboard. To complete these activities, $852,000 will need to be added to the 2017 operating budget. To support this effort $1M will be transferred from the IT capital budget to the IT operations budget.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COOPERATIVE, that the Trimble NIS upgrade and amounts discussed by the Board this day, be added to the Cooperative's 2017 Operational Budget; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Executive Officer or his designee is authorized to take such actions as needed to implement this resolution.
