Title
Resolution - Approval of Change to Authorization for Power (Substation) Transformer 5-Year Master Supply Agreement - C DeWitt
Other Info
Submitted By: Charles DeWitt
Department: Engineering
Financial Impact and Cost/Benefit Considerations: As discussed in Executive Session.
Discussion
In July 2020, the Board approved a master supply agreement (MSA) for power transformers expiring in December 2025. Due to escalation from commodity prices, the price of transformers has increased. Engineering is requesting an increase in the approval amount to the 2020 Board approved MSA to cover the increased cost.
In July 2024, a new power transformer master supply agreement was approved by the Board for transformers to be received in 2027 through 2031. This requested increase will allow for transformer purchases before the new master supply agreement goes into effect.
Body
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COOPERATIVE, that the Cooperative approve an increase in the approval amount for the 2020 master supply agreement for purchase of substation power transformers; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Executive Officer or designee is authorized to take all such actions as needed to implement this resolution.
